The Wildezine

Amelia Reuben, Co-Editor-in-Chief

Hi guys! I am so excited and honored to serve as Co-Clerk this year alongside Samaa. I got involved with journalism when I joined my school's yearbook as a freshman. I quickly realized that I didn’t like the lack of freedom with writing but I also knew that journalism was a multi-faceted entity and not something I was ready to give up on all together. That’s when I decided to join the newspaper. I haven’t turned back since then. On top of writing for The Wildezine, I also write for a DMV wide newspaper called The DC Student. My favorite pieces to write and read are local news, food reviews and op-eds. My favorite journalists are Frank Bruni, Lindy West and Tom Sietsema. If you have any advice, concerns, complaints or questions feel free to reach out to me at [email protected]. I can't wait to see what this year brings for our school newspaper!
