Especially when read aloud, I found this poem to be quite intoxicating. The punctuating alliteration and rapid-fire imagery throughout, particularly with so many monosyllabic choices, is at times fun and light, and at other times provocative and alarming. This grateful reader was left with a satisfying uneasiness.
